1.Introduction of Happy Growing Educational Institution

Happy Growing Educational Institution (A listed company - stock code: 837368) was established in 2010,it was founded by PHD Cao Hui and Ms Liu Lu. Since its establishment, it has more than ten years of practical experience in quality education, family education, and K12 education for primary and secondary school students. Headquartered in Beijing, with a subsidiary school (VICTORIA WORLD ACADEMY) in Singapore and two schools in Tianjin, China. It owns three full-time private schools, Liuli School and Liuli Senior High School both located in Wuqing,Tianjin;and Victoria World Academy in Singapore.

 

Just under Liuli Senior High School, we have an approximate of 900 teaching staffs and over 4000 students.As Victoria World Academy is a new startup, Liuli Senior High School CONSTANTLY transferring students toVictoria World Academy.


2. School Introduction:

 Liuli ISchool, established in 2014,is founded by PHD Cao Hui and Ms LiuLu located in Wuqing District, Tianjin City, China, which covers an area of about 440000 square meters. It is a private school with beautiful and well equipped school campus, including 3 teaching buildings, 3 apartment buildings, 1 stadium, 2 playgrounds, a dining hall, a school library.


Liuli International School has been approved by the International Baccalaureate Organization as a candidate school for

pyp (primary school), MYP (Secondary school) and DP (Diploma Preparatory Program). It is the first school in Tianjin to conduct IB experimental teaching with three IB programs.


Liuli School offers personal tailored way of education and cultural inheritance program to develop each student’s unique potential. It aims to nurture students with oriental wisdom, combining cutting-edge western educational methodology, to grow as individuals genetically full of charm, happiness and the spirit of liberty. 3. Learning Resources


Liuli provides students with a rich living and teaching facilities, including 3 teaching buildings, 3 apartment buildings, 1 stadium, 2 playgrounds, 1 dining hall, 1 school library, 2 dormitories building with 1500 room, 2 laboratories.

 

3.1 Activities

With the constant development of the school, 15 student associations and clubs have been organized in the school. At the same time, Liuli regularly holds a variety of competitions including:

l English Vocabulary Contest,

l Speech Contest,

l International Competition for Science,

l Project Management Training.

In order to improve students’ practical skills, Liuli arranges English Volunteer Teaching and Psychology Activities every year.





4. International Academic Collaborations


4.1 Overview

Liuli has in recent years established dozens of international academic collaborations with the overseas institutions and schools.

In 2018, Liuli has established partnership with Mt.Blue High School, which is a well-known public high school founded in 1969 located in Farmington, Maine in the US. All the courses taught in our school are structured, supervised and assessed by Mt.Blue. Students are expected to go to US and study in MT.Blue for grade-12 and receive a graduation certificate from Mt.Blue.

In 2019, Liulin International School’s Victoria World Academy  campus in Singapore was established A-level students who meet the required criteria shall be eligible to complete their courses in Grade 12 and A-level exams at Victoria World Academy campus in Singapore

 

4.2 Victoria World Academy

Victoria World Academy was founded in the year 1999, formerly known as the Orient Language School, providing specialized language training for students of all ages. Victoria World Academy was later restructured in 2020 to offer the programmes Preparatory Courses for Cambridge International A-Level examinations and Cambridge IGCSE examinations, mainly to international students aged fourteen (14) to nineteen (19). Ninety per cent (90%) of the student population is from China, and others are from various Asian countries.

Victoria World Academy is now located at Yo-Ha@Tampines where the students spend their time in a newer and bigger campus equipped with 16 classrooms, an auditorium and with access to open-spaces and fresh-aired environment.



5. Introduction to course for Cambridge Pathway


Liuli currently offers courses in Chinese National Curriculum, Cambridge A-level Curriculum, American Common Core, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Liuli is a registered Cambridge International School with the school code of CN475, and a registered AP School with the school code of 694194. Liuli International School has been approved by the International Baccalaureate Organization as a candidate school for pyp (primary school), MYP (Secondary school) and DP (Diploma Preparatory Program).

 

5.1 Aims

The courses aim to prepare students for university study and successfully and competently negotiate the journey between Chinese pedagogical approaches and those employed by overseas universities. English Language and Academic basic studies are important features of the course. The course aims to improve the language, study skills and specialist subject knowledge required to succeed at an international university.

 

5.2 Graduate Requirements

Students enrolled in Cambridge A-level will study a compressed IGCSE courses at grade-10, AS at grade-11 and A2 at grade-12 and take Cambridge exams accordingly. Eventually they will take A2 exams of at least three subjects.


5.3 Course Structure

The academic year runs from September for about 35 weeks made up of 2 semesters, the first 19 weeks, and the second 16 weeks. Each week has around 35 hours of timetabled classes including sessions for independent and group study. Students are expected to do an additional minimum of 15 hours per week self-study. All students follow 5-6 compulsory core courses and in addition choose 3-5 courses from further mathematics, Global Perspectives, economics, and EPQ each semester

5.4 Teaching and Learning Methods

The courses consist of whole class lectures supported by handouts where appropriate, group seminars, workshops, individual/group learning sessions, one- to-one tutorials and laboratory course. The tutorials give students the opportunity to receive individual feedback on their progress and to discuss any individual problems they may be having with an aspect of the course.

 

5.5 Scholarship

In order to ensure that students are motivated, study hard and develop in an all-round way after admission, Liuli  School offers students who shall meet the certain conditions and pass the examination three type of Scholarships in the second and third academic years
